The high-efficient H.264 compression core enables TV Operators to deliver top-quality HD video services over Satellite, Terrestrial, Cable TV, IPTV networks, Internet TV broadcasters.

The form-factor of each channel are following the specifications of the PCI Industrial Computers Manufacture Group (PICMG) and needs just to insert inside one of the 6 AMC slots of the EDBOX SOLUTIONS aprooved AMC industry-standard 1U rack-unit. The physical interfaces are
3GB HD/SD-SDI IN, IP OUT & ASI out. Any JANUS EHD encoder-channelboard can be hot plugged without shutdown the main rack unit.
The main objective of the JANUS EHD MTCA is the superb video quality and high robustness for 24/7 operation. The remarkable advantages of the new EDBOWX design are low-noise and save power consumption.The encoder supports by autosensing any common HD/SD video
formats like 1080i, 1080p, 720p, etc. Audio could be encoded into MPEG LII, AAC or Dolby Digital pass through. Any unique channel can be comfortably managed over the standalone web interface, or by using the SNMP protocol. quality under 5 Mbps.
